Live music is back!
LIVE music is starting back at the
Cashmere Club with the return of
Canterbury’s highly celebrated
Mainland Big Band next Saturday
night.
With a long history of music-making,
the band is recognised for its wide
range of material. Delivering a little
bit of rock, a little bit of pop, some
lovely ballads and a touch of jazz,
their play list spans the decades, from
the 50's through to the 1980's and
90's. Saturday (3rd February). 7.30pm
start. $10 door sales.
Sunday Sessions are also returning
in February, with live music every
Sunday from 3pm - 6pm. Perfect for a
chill out in the Club Garden Bar while
the kids stay amused in the Club Play

THE kitchen refit is now complete at
the St Albans Shirley Club (SAS
Club) and the team is pleased to
announce the Bistro is fully up and
running and offering a fresh new
summer menu.
There’s a great choice ranging
Snacks (that are available throughout
trading) through to Starters, Mains,
Desserts and a 2 course Kids’ Menu.
Old favourites such as Roast and
Fish of the Day, Sausages & Mash,
Steak, and Chef’s famous Burgers
feature on the menu as well as new
items such as Smoked Chicken Pesto
Salad and Lamb Kebabs with
couscous salad, Ginger Sesame
also be introducing a new lunch
menu in February. It will be available
from 11.30am to 2pm and during
February every Sunday kids eat for
FREE! (Conditions apply).
Coming up on Sunday 18th
February are Club favourites, The
Southern Jazzmen. Made up of Jeff
Bradley (clarinet/vocals); Kim
Blackmore (trombone/vocals); Bert
Parrant (guitar/vocals); Jack Harre
(trumpet); Sebastion (acoustic bass);
and Robert Zipfel (drums), the band
specialises in Dixie-Swing and plays
great toe tapping music.
