INDULGE.
For all things hoppy, check out The Beer Library
at The Colombo. The family-run bottle shop offers
an impressive selection of more than 300 varieties
of craft beer – not to mention spirits, wine and
cider. They are sure to have what you are looking
for, as well as many more options to please the
taste buds.
Hackthorne Gardens Luxury Accommodation
is now able to host guests for dinner in this
exquisite location. From a sample luncheon, which
included a dish of peking duck, foie gras bao bun,
fresh shitake mushrooms, edamame beans, and
sour plum sauce, we’re expecting great things at
141 Hackthorne Road, Cashmere.
EXPERIENCE.
Cathay Pacific will introduce a new seasonal
service between Hong Kong and Christchurch
from December 2017, directly linking
the two cities by air for the first time and
complementing the airline’s existing service to
Auckland. The non-stop Christchurch service
will operate three times per week, departing
Hong Kong on Wednesdays, Fridays and
Sundays.
We are excited about the launch of
Montrose Estate, a new luxury alpine retreat
on the Rakaia River at the foot of the Southern
Alps. Montrose is comprised of three luxury
self-contained homes, situated in a private
valley of 260 hectares. Right beside a fivehectare
spring-fed lake, there’s two kilometres
of Rakaia River frontage to admire. The
estate is one hour’s drive from the city – or
a short helicopter journey from Christchurch
International Airport.
