handled a record 938,000 tons of<br />
cargo in 2017 and its teams have<br />

u p g r a d i n g i t s<br />
infrastructure along<br />
with equipment and staff training. It<br />
recently doubled its non-standard<br />
goods-handling capacity, bought a<br />
telescopic reach stacker crane that<br />
can lift cargo of up to 45 tons and<br />
commissioned a new outsized<br />
goods hangar.<br />
As part of its new infrastructure<br />
program, its cargo plane parking<br />
areas and the lorry docking areas are<br />
now just 108 meters apart, enabling<br />
faster loading pace, especially good<br />
for perishable and dangerous goods.<br />

one of LuxairCARGO's major<br />
s p e c i a l i z a t i o n s i s h a n d l i n g<br />
perishable and dangerous goods,<br />
exclusive products, pharmaceutical<br />
or controlled-temperature products,<br />

further reduced journey times by<br />
installing ULD Fast Lanes that allow<br />
us to load full pallets in minimal time<br />
as part of our company's goal to<br />
constantly improve and perfect our<br />
processes,” the company said,<br />
adding that its flexibility to handle<br />
any type of cargo makes it easier for<br />
customers to ship their goods.
