facilities, personnel, training, deployment of resources, the<br />
complement of fire apparatus, dispatching system, fire<br />
prevention activities, and the adequacy of the District water<br />
supply from the 50 water districts in the Fire District.<br />
With this new ISO rating 1, our community and property<br />
owners should now see a reduction in their insurance<br />
premiums in the district, and combined, potentially save<br />
millions of dollars throughout the district.<br />
GET SOCIAL WITH<br />
GREENWOOD VILLAGE<br />
Whether it’s updating citizens about a new ordinance,<br />
alerting them of road construction and traffic delays, posting<br />
crime tips, notifying them of arts and recreation classes, or<br />
raising awareness of issues that affect our community, our use<br />
of social media has enhanced communication between<br />
citizens and Greenwood Village. One of the biggest benefits<br />
of using Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, NextDoor and<br />
Twitter is they are excellent online platforms for citizens to<br />
voice their opinions and provide feedback to us. Citizen<br />
engagement is critical for the Village as it facilitates working<br />
together with you to make changes and/or improve our<br />
community.<br />
If you are not a follower of the Village’s social media sites, I<br />
encourage you to sign up. The Village’s Social Media<br />
Program expands every day, and you will find valuable<br />
information about your Village and overall community. Not<br />
to mention some fun posts like #WoofWednesday featuring<br />
many of our adorable canine residents which is growing in<br />
