Parent Teacher Conference: Amazing Turn-out!<br />
On October 30 and 31, our parents were welcomed on campus for two straight days to celebrate<br />
parent teacher conferences with the Holualoa School teachers. The relationship with your child's<br />
teacher is so important to maximize your child's success. It was great to see how much kind,<br />
intelligent, and friendly parents took time out of their busy schedules to discuss academic goals with<br />
the teachers. Thank you for your support of your child and the Holualoa School teacher!<br />
WASA Potluck Diner<br />
Join Us Tues, Nov.14-- Holualoa Cafeteria 5:30-7:00 This is an opportunity to meet the members of the<br />
WASC Visitation Committee* and talk to them about your involvement at the school and the various<br />
ways the school elicits your input (or not) in all sorts of decisions that are being made regarding the<br />
education of your child.<br />
*WASC stands for Western Accreditation of Schools and Colleges. This is Holualoa Elementary’s first time<br />
through the Self-Study process and experience with a Visitation Committee. The process is to include all<br />
“Stakeholders”, which includes parents and community members. Come and share your experiences and<br />

Our Fund Run is Coming Up...Please Encourage Kids to Gather Funds!<br />
Holualoa School PTO is working hard to sponsor our 10th annual Fund Run. This is Holualoa's main fund<br />
raising event. Please encourage your kids to gather funds in their Fund Run envelope for our school. The<br />
Fund Run is an event where students run to raise money for our school. It's happening on <strong>November</strong><br />
17th at the Holualoa School field. Please be on the lookout for information regarding our fund raising<br />
bake sale – will be in need of volunteers and goodies of all kinds. Thanks for your help and support!<br />
