(SC) SOUTHCREEK BOARD MEETINGS<br />
Southcreek Board meetings are held on the third<br />
Monday of each month unless a Holiday falls on that<br />
Monday, then the meeting would be held the next day,<br />
Tuesday.<br />
(SC) VOLUNTEERS NEEDED<br />
Southcreek Residents we are in need for volunteers for<br />
the following Community Events in <strong>2018</strong>:<br />
• July 4 th Picnic and Parade - July<br />
• Rock the Park - ?<br />
• National Night out - October<br />
• Christmas at the Gazebo - December<br />
• Teen night out at the Pool - ?<br />
Volunteers are needed to help out in the following<br />
categories:<br />
• Architectural Review<br />
• Crime Watch<br />
• Social Media<br />
• Parks and Landscaping<br />
• Garage Sale<br />
There is something here for all ages to volunteer for,<br />
please stop by the monthly Board meeting taking place<br />
every 3 rd Monday of the month at the Autumn Laurel<br />
Pool and get involved with the Southcreek community -<br />
reminders are posted on the Marquis within Southcreek.<br />
Please note that without Resident volunteers, we are<br />
unable to host any of the events for our community, so<br />
please stop by the monthly Board meeting and volunteer.<br />
VERY IMPORTANT: DID YOU PAY YOUR HOA DUES? IF NOT,<br />
YOU STILL HAVE TIME.<br />

(SC) SAVE THE DATE - GARAGE SALE<br />
We have a volunteer couple who has agreed to head up the garage sale for the upcoming<br />
future. As a result, we will have one spring and one fall garage sale each year. Every year<br />
the dates will be:<br />
1 st Saturday in April with a rainout date being the 2 nd Saturday for the Spring<br />
1 st Saturday in October and the rainout date of the 2 nd Saturday for the Fall.<br />
These are the only dates in which a garage sale can be held in Southcreek and garage sales<br />
will only be allowed on the 2 nd Saturday if it rains on the 1 st Saturday.<br />

(SC) TEENS - OPPORTUNITY FOR VOLUNTEER HOURS?<br />
This Will Help Fulfill Your Service Hours<br />
We are in need of volunteers to keep our marquees updated with information. This would<br />
entail changing the letters on both sides of the marquees located in our parks. If you are in<br />
need for volunteer service hours, this is an easy way to fill your requirements. If interested,<br />

(SC) REPORTING ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY<br />
There are two ways to report suspicious activity. You can use the iWatch Harris County App.<br />
You can also call the Sheriff’s Department non-emergency number, 713-221-6000.<br />
iWATCH HARRIS COUNTY is a smart phone app designed to work with Android and iPhones.<br />
It allows citizens to report any persons or activities. Any tips can remain anonymous or<br />
citizens have the option to disclose their identity. Additional information is available at<br />
