Miranda, Lewis Family Playhouse’s<br />
professional theatre company Broadway<br />
at the Gardens presents In the Heights.<br />
The barrio will come to life on the Lewis<br />
Family Playhouse stage for two weekends from<br />
March 9 – 18, with show times on Fridays and<br />
Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Gold<br />
Level tickets are priced at $30 for General and<br />
$28 for Seniors. All Platinum Level tickets are<br />
priced at $35.<br />
In the Heights tells the universal story of a<br />
vibrant community in New York’s Washington<br />
Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee<br />
from the corner bodega is light and sweet,<br />
the windows are always open, and the breeze<br />
carries the rhythm of three generations of music.<br />
It’s a community on the brink of change, full of<br />
hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest<br />
struggles can be deciding which traditions you<br />
take with you, and which ones you leave behind.<br />
The creative team is headed by Director<br />
Benjamin Perez, Choreographer Marissa<br />
Herrera, and Musical Director/Conductor<br />
Ryan O’Connell. Heading the cast of almost<br />
30 professional and local performers is A.J.<br />
Mendoza (Usnavi), Anyssa Navarro (Nina),<br />
Jackie Lorenzo Cox (Abuela Claudia), Lucy<br />
Rodriguez (Vanessa), Jeremy Whatley (Benny),<br />
