It’s been a busy month engaging with customers and employers to<br />
support people into work.<br />
We supported a successful Careers Fair for Wrexham and <strong>Flintshire</strong><br />
organised by Careers Wales in Glyndwr University to engage with young<br />
people about long-term career choices. Along with attending the ‘Invest<br />
in Growth Conference’ for Food & Drink Wales, the day was filled with<br />
inspiring companies across Wales sharing ideas on how to reduce the skill<br />
shortage and promote the great career opportunities within the industry.<br />
We heard from local companies of North Wales about there engagement<br />
with schools and colleges including factory tours and on-site workshops.<br />

We have been shortlisted further for ‘North Wales Insider Awards’ in 2<br />
categories being the ‘People Development Award’ and ‘Professional<br />
Service Business of the Year’, we are looking forward to attending the<br />
awards ceremony on the 15 th <strong>March</strong> in Venue Cymru….. fingers crossed!<br />
GOOD NEWS – As part of supporting customers with barriers into work, we<br />
have been successful in giving 2 ex-offenders full-time permanent roles<br />
and are excited to see how they continue to go from strength to strength.<br />
