Grange Farm contractors speeding – request for signage erected on entry and exit from the farm<br />

to remind drivers to calm speeds<br />

Cllr. Home-Roberts has spoken to the contractors about speeding before – will do so again and<br />

will try to organise signage.<br />

Grange Farm contractors (gardening contractors) fires<br />

The farm has got a waste exemption for burning green waste and wood. The contractor has<br />

been asked not burn fires unless supervised.<br />

Malthouse Lane-deposits of mud and dirt from farm vehicles & request for dedicated road<br />

sweeper where needed<br />

Cllr. Home-Roberts said contractors try to use alternative access via fields when weather makes<br />

it possible to. The council will write to Longnor estates to arrange a meeting with the managing<br />

agent.<br />

St. Eata’s Lane fence<br />

The condition of the fence was raised. The developer is no longer in business so it was<br />

suggested the residents need to organise repairs.<br />

Malthouse Lane and roads and pavements into Mytton and Mermaid - poor state of repair<br />

pooling of rain<br />

Cllr. Wild reported that this is in the works programme but timescale is not known. These matters<br />

will be reported to highways and raised with owner of Mytton and Mermaid.<br />

Atcham bridge surface and condition of posts entering the bridge<br />

To be raised with English Heritage.<br />

Dog fouling<br />

Signs have gone up in an effort to deter this<br />

Concerns re speeding – raised option of CSW.<br />

Residents are asking for speed limit review. The parish can wite to the police to review this if a<br />

formal request is made by the community. We are still looking for volunteers for Community<br />

Speedwatch – please contact the Clerk if you may be interested.<br />

Neighbourhood Planning<br />

A parishioner from Cross Houses asked if the Parish Council would consider doing a<br />

Neighbourhood Plan jointly with them to ask more CIL funding. This is a complex and costly<br />

project and would require formal consideration by the Parish Council.<br />

The meeting dates for forthcoming council year as follows: 9 th<br />

Malthouse and start at 7.30pm.<br />
