436 BUS SERVICE THROUGH CROSS HOUSES<br />
As many of you will remember the EasyBus service ceased just before Christmas. Shropshire Council<br />
arranged with Arriva to cover the service whilst they put the service out for tender for a new, five<br />
year contract starting on 3rd <strong>Apr</strong>il <strong>2018</strong>. I am sure that you will be pleased to know that Arriva have<br />
been awarded the contract and so the service will continue in its current form. If you have any<br />
concerns or questions regarding the service please do not hesitate to contact me.<br />
FLY TIPPING<br />
There has been an increase in incidents of fly tipping across the Severn Valley area. If you spot any<br />
fly tipping you can report it directly to Shropshire Council by telephoning 0345 678 9000 or by using<br />
the “Report it” facility on Shropshire Council’s website or you can tweet @Shropcouncil alerting<br />
them to the items and location. Please be as specific as possible regarding the location so that the<br />
removal teams can locate it as quickly.<br />
FLETCHER HOMES DEVELOPMENT (BERRINGTON MEADOWS)<br />
Jonathan Westwood from Fletcher Homes is coming to give an update to the Parish Council at the<br />
<strong>Apr</strong>il meeting, Thursday 5th <strong>Apr</strong>il at 7pm. Please come along and ask any questions you may have.<br />
The first phase of the Berrington Meadows development is well underway and I am informed that<br />
sales are very good.<br />
