Phone: 888-221-8120 • Fax: (504) 392-3920 www.diverssupplyinc.com Gas Reclaim Electric Gasmizer Diver Gas Reclaim The Electric Gasmizer is the world’s most popular gas reclaim system. Comprimised of four main robust components, it is easy to see why. It will reclaim gas from up to two divers at 1,650 FSW/500 MSA. The Control Console is located in the dive control shack allowing the diving supervisor to monitor and control all functions of the diver gas recovery system including electric gas booster start/stop, oxygen injection, diver supply pressure, exhaust hose pressure and the addition of make-up gas. Internal Bell Equipment maintains the optimum negative pressure in the divers exhaust hose, removes water and provides automatic shutdown of the exhaust circuit should the diver’s gas supply be interrupted. It also allows the bell atmosphere to be scrubbed. The External Bell Equipment consists of a high-flow check valve which prevents reverse flow and an external water trap that allows water, which has been condensed out of the bell exhaust hose, to be removed from the gas flow path. Baffles ensure water removal efficiency; easily disassembled for cleaning; stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance; and negligible weight is added to the bell. The Gas Booster is a purpose-built electric driven, non-lubricated, water-cooled, two stage gas booster which will support two divers down to 1,650 FSW by supplying a minimum of 150 actual liters per minute at all diving depths. The Reprocessing Unit is compact, rugged, and contains the components for precisely reprocessing the breathing gas from two divers down to 1,650 FSW. © 2012 Divers Supply, Inc. Cost Savings Analysis Open circuit breathing gas cost per 10 hour day, calculated at 1.5 cu/ft. per min per atm in USD. The Ultrajewel range of reclaim helmets is the most efficient and reliable currently available to the commercial diver. When used with the GASMIZER system, gas consumption is typically reduced by 90% or better. The combination of the Ultraflow demand valve and the Jewel reclaim valve has been established as the industry standard, but through Divex’s policy of continuing development, they have further improved performance and reliability. Advantages of the closed circuit reclaim helmet is the excellent communications capability with less bubble noise and exhalation resistance at as little as 0.3 bar. © 2012 Divers Supply, Inc.
