NOTTINGHAM COUNTRY<br />
GARDEN CLUB<br />
On Thursday, <strong>April</strong> 5, <strong>2018</strong>, Nottingham Country<br />
Garden Club (NCGC) will feature Jacob Martin<br />
with a presentation on the History of Mercer Arboretum.<br />
He is the greenhouse manager at Mercer<br />
Botanic Gardens and has his own business<br />
outside of work called Old School Produce. He<br />
grows herbs and veggies for local restaurants.<br />
He loves very unusual plants especially ones<br />
that are edible or poisonous and prefers growing<br />
plants from seed but he also enjoys teaching<br />
about all forms of propagation.<br />
Meet and greet time begins at 9:30 AM and the<br />
program will start at 10 AM, followed by the<br />
NCGC meeting. Please join us at the Municipal<br />
Utility Building #81 at 805 Hidden Canyon Drive<br />

people interested in gardening and gardening<br />
related areas from West Houston and the Katy<br />

NCGC is a non-profit organization affiliated with<br />
the Houston Federation of Garden Clubs, the<br />
Texas Garden Clubs and the National Federation<br />
of Garden Clubs. <strong>The</strong> purpose of the club<br />
is to promote beautification in the community,<br />
support local and national education and charitable<br />
organizations and educate the community<br />
about our environment. Donations from the<br />
NCGC are funded by our annual Spring Sale and<br />
projects that vary each year.<br />
KATY QUILTERS<br />
FREE Introduction to Quilting. If you thought<br />
that you would like to learn to quilt but have<br />
never sewed a stitch in your life... then this short<br />
introduction is for you. If you have sewed on<br />
and off all your life but have never attempted<br />
to quilt... then this is for you. Maybe you just<br />
want a hobby... this is for you. Take 2 hours out<br />
of your day to listen and view what it takes to<br />
start this new adventure. Time and place will<br />

TEXAS TRIUMPH REGISTER (TTR)<br />
<strong>The</strong> Texas Triumph Register (TTR), founded in<br />
1981, is an organization of Triumph owners and<br />
enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and<br />
ongoing enjoyment of the Marque. Membership<br />
is open to all who appreciate automobiles bearing<br />
the Triumph name. In addition to monthly<br />
meetings, the club sponsors rallies, shows, road<br />
