I went to this place called Balangan beach where the stretch of sand was vast and pristine. The waves were high and there was a surfing school nearby with surfers in the water. I spent approximately 5 minutes evaluating my surroundings to take as many pictures as I can before my guide called me back to the van. Don’t get me wrong, I had fun on my first trip to Bali but I am kind of sad that I didn’t even get to take a dip in their famous blue waters. However, I was amazed by many other things in Jimbaran, Bali that made me see a different perspective of the island and its people. Take a read on page 18. This applies to destinations like Bali and the east coast of Malaysia. Redang Island anyone?
