Daily Drop Ins at Town Park Recreation Centre July 2 - Sept 2 Skate park Monday-Friday Age: 9+ Age: 13+ Open gym time Time: 1:00pm-6:00pm Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm Thurs/Fri All Ages Time: 1:30pm-3:30pm Mon All Ages Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm Mon/Thurs/Fri Age: 13+ Time: 3:30pm-5:30pm SEASON LEGEND Youth Centre Drop in to the youth centre and play billiards, ping pong, shuffleboard and foosball while hanging out with your friends. Right outside the door of the youth centre is the skate park that hosts many fun events. Cameco Gym Drop in to the gym and play some basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, badminton or pickleball. It is a great place to meet up with your friends and get some physical activity. Spring: April 30 - June 24 Registration for Spring programs April 16-25 Summer: July 2 - Aug 26 Registration for Summer programs June 11-27 YOUTH PROGRAMS Jack Burger Sports Complex & Town Park Recreation Centre Youth Social Come join in the fun with a variety of activities, themes and snacks. Fees: $1.00 Location: Town Park Recreation Centre Reg. due Date Day Time Age July 13 July 6-Aug 31 Thurs 6:00pm-8:00pm 10-15 What's Cookin' Learn Life Skills and enjoy the taste of great food made by YOU! Participants will also learn how to shop on a budget and use the Canadian food guide. Waterfront Program Enjoy a week of waterfront activities including paddleboarding, canoeing, water sports and more Fees: 149.35 Location: Town Park Recreation Centre Season Start Date Weeks Day Time Age Summer July 23-27 1 Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm 12-15 Leaders in Training (LIT) Recognized as part of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture Youth Volunteer and Engagement program. With the growing success of the LIT program, this mentoring program is designed to enhance leadership skills, teamwork abilities, problem solving and more. Schedules for LIT’s will be based on ratios and availability. Fees: $228.55 Location: Town Park Recreation Centre Reg. due Date Weeks Day Time Age June 29 July 2-13 2 Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm 12-13 Counsellor in Training (CIT) CIT’s will learn day camp and program procedures, HIGH FIVE fundamentals and more in a fun and interactive way. As youth successfully complete the program, they may be eligible to volunteer in the Departments Youth Volunteer Program, including Summer Day Camp.
