ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
CAR
Main roads into Eastbourne are the A22 & A23 from London,
A259 linking Hastings, Dover and the Channel Tunnel, A259 & A27
from Brighton. To smooth journeys from Brighton and the West
use the A27 rather than the A259. NB: Traffic controls will be in
place at Exceat Bridge (BN25 4AB) 16:00 - 20:00 from
17/08 - 20/08
CAR PARKING
Available at:
Five Acre Field, Lottbridge Drove BN22 7SG (£5 per car)
Beachy Head: Parking area, near Beachy Head Pub, BN20 7XY.
Toilets and refreshments available. Warren Hill pay & display,
normal charges apply/Warren Hill Field and Dencher, £5 daily.
St Andrew’s School Field*, Darley Road, BN20 7RP – donation to park
welcome. *This bus service will have disabled access. All buses will
terminate East or West of the Airbourne site.
NCP Car Park: Trinity Place, BN21 3BZ
JCP Car Park: Junction Road, BN21 3QZ
We advise arriving early to avoid queues. Tune into Radio Airbourne
87.7FM for traffic updates and parking availability.
Charges will apply to all car parks.
COACH PARKING BOOKINGS
Parking can be pre-booked at Stagecoach, Birch Road Garage,
BN23 6PD, Tel 01323 418068.
BUSES
Regular bus services operate around Eastbourne.

RAIL
Regular trains from London, Brighton and Hastings. Contact National
Rail Enquiries: 08457 484950 / nationalrail.co.uk. Don’t miss the last
train after the firework finale on Sunday 20th August! London: 22:31;
Brighton: 22:59; Hastings: 23:25. A queuing system is operating at
Eastbourne station from 16:00-20:00. Customers are advised that the
concourse will be closed at this time while we have large crowds waiting
to travel, please follow directions from the station staff.
Please allow plenty of time for connections. Train times subject to
change/cancellation.
CYCLE
National Cycle Network Route 21 plus FREE cycle park at
Howard Square on Grand Parade.
LOST PERSON / MEETING POINT
The lost person’s marquee and meeting point is located on
Wilmington Square. (See page 6).
TOILETS
There are 9 toilet facilities located between the Western Lawns
and Marine Parade. (See site map, page 6).
FIRST AID
British Red Cross treatment centres are based along King Edwards
Parade at The Bandstand & The Lifeboat Museum with mobile first
aid teams and ambulances available around the event site. Our main
treatment facility is based at the rear of Wilmington Square.

TOURIST INFORMATION
Visit the main Tourist Information Centre on Cornfield Road for
any queries or information you may need. Open Thursday/Friday
09:00-17:30, Saturday 09:00-17:00 and Sunday 10:00-13:00.

NB: The operation of remote controlled devices on and around
the site of Eastbourne International Air Show including drones is
forbidden by the Civil Aviation Authority and Eastbourne Borough
Council. Balloons and bicycles are not permitted in the event site.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AT AIRBOURNE
In the event of an emergency at Airbourne there will be messages
relayed on the Public Address system. Please listen to these
carefully and follow the instructions of police officers and the
event stewards in yellow tabards. Should the seafront need to be
evacuated this should take place in an orderly fashion and will
be in a north west or east direction on the designated routes or
as directed by Sussex Police. YOU SHOULD NOT RE-ENTER THE
CLEARED AREA UNTIL INSTRUCTED THAT IT IS SAFE TO DO SO.
At all times please adhere to all warning notices, comply with the
instructions from stewards and stay behind any barrier and fence
lines as these are there for your own safety.
