Children under age 17 must be in at midnight (12 AM). Parents need to make sure that their children are at home the entire night. If children are caught wandering around at late hours after midnight, the Harris County Sheriffs will give them a citation. This is a class C misdemeanor, both the child and the parent MUST appear in front of court and pay a fine which may exceed $150. REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES AND CRIMES When you see suspicious activity and would like to file a report call the non-emergency number. When a crime is in progress and/or a human life is at risk call 9-1-1. If at any time someone observes a suspicious person or vehicle in the subdivision they should not hesitate in reporting it to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The first thing a resident should do is contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to file a report. There are three ways to do this. If your incident is an emergency, call 9-1-1, if non-emergency call 713-221-6000 or use the Harris County Sheriff’s online reporting system: www.hcso.hctx.net/LeadinHtml_TxHarrisCountySo/startreport.
