University of Manchester alumnus Tom<br />
Hicks presents the last of Prokofiev’s<br />
epic War Sonatas (No. 8) and Janáček’s<br />
impressionistic In the Mists. Both works<br />
were written in the first half of the<br />
20th century but evoke very different<br />
landscapes.<br />
