WELCOME<br />
Dear all,<br />
On behalf of the <strong>CMU</strong> <strong>Summit</strong> Organization and the <strong>7th</strong> <strong>CMU</strong> <strong>Summit</strong> Committee,<br />
we would like to express our warmest welcome to you.<br />
Since 2012, we’ve hosted 6 high profile forums with over 7000 participants,<br />
coverage from 100 media channels, and the support of over 700 industrial leaders.<br />
Our New Venture Competition has successfully recruited over 600 startup teams<br />
over the past few years, many of which received funding. Our annual conference<br />
is one of the largest, top-tier Innovation and Entrepreneurship conferences held by<br />
university students in the United States.<br />
In July 2016, we transitioned from an annual event to a <strong>CMU</strong> recognized<br />
organization in order to better serve our mission and purposes. We now operate<br />
on a regular basis to host events, including online and offline tech talks and job<br />
fairs. Moreover, we created financing, talent recruiting channels, and mentorship<br />
programs to better connect US-China resource and capital.<br />
Today, we would like to carry on our achievements by hosting the <strong>7th</strong> <strong>CMU</strong> <strong>Summit</strong><br />
at <strong>CMU</strong> campus in Pittsburgh, the birthplace of many cutting-edge technologies.<br />
We will be hosting a series of events including keynote speeches, panel discussions,<br />
New Venture Competition, and networking lunch and dinner.<br />
Last but not least, we want to give our special thanks to our speakers, advisors,<br />
partners, and sponsors. Without their support and contribution, we would not have<br />
gone this far. We would also like to thank our audience for being here at the <strong>7th</strong><br />
<strong>CMU</strong> <strong>Summit</strong>. We sincerely hope that you will have a great and enriching weekend<br />
