Retail/Leisure Parks and Shopping Parks The vast majority of Retail/Leisure Parks and Shopping Parks have a dedicated car park facility which services customers wanting to use on site facilities/retailers. Currently, car park management within these sectors are predominately managed utilising existing ANPR technology, alongside supporting manual foot patrols. Our Intelligent Number Plate Recognition (iNPR) solution has advanced reporting functionalities, including customer only identifi cation, vehicle tracking and detailed analytics. This data can be benefi cial from a operational, security and marketing perspective. Intelligent Number Plate Recognition (iNPR) highlights vehicles who park on site and then tracks the driver/passengers that leave site without entering your stores or remain on site for longer than the published time limit. These people are taking up valuable space that could be used for genuine customers, members of staff or visitors. iNPR tracks both driver and passengers once they leave the vehicle and can show you which stores they visit fi rst and the last store they visited, before returning to their vehicle. It can also show which stores in a multi-store site have common customers. This information is recorded at our control centre and the video data reviewed through our online portal. iNPR cameras can also detect obstructive parking, such as parking in a hatched area, out of a marked bay or parking in a parent and child bay, without any children. It also monitors antisocial behaviour, such as fl y tipping and ‘boy racing’, particularly out of trading hours. iNPR can show you your car park heat map, which can be a useful tool to highlight which areas of your car park are most frequently used and when. This can also be benefi cial from a development perspective.
