You can check out further details online with drop off points and timings. Pick-up times are available by<br />

placing your selection in your basket - don't worry there's no commitment <strong>to</strong> buy! Due <strong>to</strong> the nature of our<br />

business all website bookings are provisional until confirmed by us. We ask you for your preferred seating<br />

allocation during the booking process and will confirm your seat numbers after you have booked. We shall<br />

try <strong>to</strong> meet your seating requirements where possible, but cannot guarantee this.<br />

Abbotsbury Swannery & Sub Tropical Gardens ROUTE Y<br />

Established by Benedictine Monks during the 1040’s, Abbotsbury Swannery is a<br />

unique attraction where you are able <strong>to</strong> walk through the heart of a colony of Mute<br />

Swans. At this time of year there should be plenty of Signets <strong>to</strong> see..ahhh.<br />

Abbotsbury is located <strong>to</strong> the west of Weymouth and offers a fantastic day out.<br />

After spending time at The Swannery we travel <strong>to</strong> the nearby Sup Tropical Gardens,<br />

described by Alan Titchmarsh as “One of the finest gardens I have ever visited”.<br />

Didcot Railway Centre - Oxfordshire<br />

Didcot Railway Centre is a living museum of the Great Western Railway in Didcot,<br />

Oxfordshire. See the unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines,<br />

coaches, wagons, buildings and small relics; and a re-creation of Brunel’s broad<br />

gauge railway. Plenty of time here <strong>to</strong> stroll around the engine sheds and take short<br />

rides on the trains and ask the enthusiast volunteers any questions you may have.<br />

Monet & Architecture – National Gallery<br />

National Gallery in London. Probably the most popular of the French Impressionists;<br />

it is nearly 20 years since this size exhibition was hosted in the UK for a Monet<br />

collection. This exhibition will look at Monet’s career through the buildings he<br />

painted. He painted buildings and famous landmarks across Europe including<br />

Normandy, Paris, London, and Venice. Explore how Monet used architecture <strong>to</strong><br />

s<strong>to</strong>pping in Winchester, with time <strong>to</strong> explore and enjoy an early lunch, we arrive at<br />

the distillery around 1.00pm. Bombay Sapphire is one of the worlds premium Gins<br />

with its production distillery beautifully situated in an his<strong>to</strong>ric old Mill on the River<br />

Test. It now offers a fascinating <strong>to</strong>ur of the facility where you can discover the exotic<br />

botanicals grown in the striking Glasshouses, see the huge copper infusion Stills and<br />

These award-winning gardens are beautifully situated north of Chichester with views<br />

over the surrounding South Downs. Owned by the Edward James Foundation the<br />

gardens were laid out in the 1890s and 1900s featuring a Vic<strong>to</strong>rian Walled Kitchen<br />

Garden, 300 foot-long Edwardian Pergola, naturalistic Spring Garden, Sunken<br />

Garden, Orchards and circular arboretum walk set in beautiful parkland. A huge<br />

variety of plants - from peaches <strong>to</strong> peppers, cucumbers <strong>to</strong> coleus, aubergines <strong>to</strong><br />

orchids grow in the 16 glasshouses and frames. Homemade food and refreshments<br />

served in the Gardens Restaurant, alongside the Gift Shop. A wonderful day for the<br />

Hamp<strong>to</strong>n Court Palace River Cruise<br />

A memorable day out. We board our River Boat at Chertsey at 11.00am and have a<br />

memorable 2¼ hour cruise with commentary up the River Thames through Sunbury<br />

Lock and passing lovely riverside properties, some formerly owned by such stars as<br />

Diana Dors. Approaching from the river gives a unique view of the Palace - we shall<br />

arrive at 1.15pm, departing at 4.15pm. Plenty of time <strong>to</strong> explore the magnificent<br />

Tudor Palace with its remarkable his<strong>to</strong>ry, stroll around the gardens and view the<br />

world famous maze. We would recommend that you bring a packed lunch <strong>to</strong> have<br />

Nymans – National Trust<br />

In the late 19th century the creative Messel family bought the Nymans estate in the<br />

Sussex High Weald with the intention of making a dream country house. They<br />

created one of the country's great gardens with experimental designs and plants<br />

from around the world. Nymans became a garden lovers’ home, a place where the<br />

Messels entertained family and friends, relaxed in the garden, picnicked and walked<br />

in the woods. Partially destroyed by fire in 1947, the house and ruins sit within a<br />

romantic and picturesque setting. Nymans is the perfect place <strong>to</strong> relax, stroll in the<br />

garden and enjoy some time out. There are art exhibitions and creative hands on<br />

workshops in the rustic potting shed, garden workshops, guided walks and free<br />

Wednesday 13th<br />

Henley with delicious Afternoon Cream Tea Cruise ROUTE A<br />

Adjacent <strong>to</strong> the River Thames, Henley is best known for its annual Royal Regatta,<br />

attracting some of the world’s finest rowers. Why not tread in the footsteps of<br />

Redgrave & Pinsent and s<strong>to</strong>p off at the <strong>to</strong>wn’s award-winning River and Rowing<br />

Museum. But there is more <strong>to</strong> the <strong>to</strong>wn, with its his<strong>to</strong>ric church, Town Hall, market<br />

square and excellent shops and restaurants. After time in the <strong>to</strong>wn we head <strong>to</strong><br />

Maidenhead <strong>to</strong> complete the day with a wonderful 2 hour cruise in our covered river<br />

boat. Whilst on board we pass Cliveden House and the glorious riverside houses of<br />

the many celebrities at Bray. To cap it all, we have included a delicious Cream Tea –<br />

scones, jam, clotted cream, tea or coffee – naughty, but nice!<br />

which often attracts horses that have run in the English, French and Irish 2,000<br />

Wow! Undoubtably one of the best National Trust properties we have visited.<br />

Located in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with extensive grounds, Buscot Park is the<br />

family home of Lord Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between<br />

1780 and 1783, the estate has a fascinating his<strong>to</strong>ry which has left the estate with a<br />

remarkable legacy. There is a variety of attractions - from formal gardens <strong>to</strong><br />

woodlands. There are plenty of lovely viewpoints and a selection of architectural<br />

sculptures adds interest <strong>to</strong> your visit. Don’t miss the stunning water gardens<br />

and have lunch before heading <strong>to</strong> Uppark House. Uppark is an impressive late 17th<br />

Century National Trust house offering magnificent panoramic views from its setting,<br />

high on the South Downs of West Sussex. The house contains 18th Century<br />

collections of French furniture, paintings, ceramics and textiles. Perhaps the most<br />

impressive piece is the famous dolls' house which gives a detailed look of life at that<br />

time. The garden is picturesque, primarily foliage, with flowering shrubs, bulbs,<br />

favourite s<strong>to</strong>pping places, Marlborough. This archetypal English Market <strong>to</strong>wn has<br />

that ‘film location’ quality and is a great spot <strong>to</strong> stroll around and enjoy a nice lunch.<br />

In the afternoon we head <strong>to</strong> nearby Kintbury and board the ‘Kennet Valley’ horse<br />

drawn barge for a 2½ hour cruise along the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal. This<br />

wide beam passenger boat was purpose built for carrying passengers and is<br />

powered solely by the <strong>to</strong>wing action of the horse making for a tranquil journey.<br />

Facilities onboard include a well s<strong>to</strong>cked bar serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and<br />

this rejuvenated traditional seaside resort. The wide award winning three mile beach<br />

Extended and improved. Step back in time with us, as we head first <strong>to</strong> one of our<br />

favourite s<strong>to</strong>pping places, Marlborough. This archetypal English Market <strong>to</strong>wn has<br />

In the afternoon we head <strong>to</strong> nearby Kintbury and board the ‘Kennet Valley’ horse<br />

mountainous area has an abundance of natural beauty,<br />

enriched by sub-tropical flora flourishing in an unusually<br />

Our holidays <strong>to</strong> the area have always been very popular. This year we<br />

Itinerary:<br />

<strong>Day</strong> 1: After being collected from your home in the morning (6.00am approx.)<br />

we travel <strong>to</strong> Pembroke in West Wales with refreshment s<strong>to</strong>p on route before<br />

boarding the 2.45pm Ferry <strong>to</strong> Rosslare. Docking at 6.45pm we continue <strong>to</strong> arrive<br />

in the beautiful city of Waterford at around 8.30pm for our overnight s<strong>to</strong>p at the<br />

excellent Dooley’s Hotel on the waterfront.<br />

<strong>Day</strong> 2: After breakfast we depart the<br />

hotel and continue <strong>to</strong> Killarney, arriving<br />

at the hotel late afternoon.<br />

<strong>Day</strong> 3: A day in Killarney. Your<br />

driver/courier will organise an optional<br />

excursion by horse Jaunting Carts<br />

around the <strong>to</strong>wn and through the<br />

National Park <strong>to</strong> Lough Leane for a boat<br />

trip on the lake. Absolutely beautiful<br />

scenery from onboard with a typically<br />

Irish commentary from the Captain!<br />

Looe & Magical Cornwall<br />

Superb holiday staying in the very heart of Cornish life in<br />

Looe and with excursions discovering the beautiful<br />

countryside, <strong>to</strong>wns and people of the region. The his<strong>to</strong>ric<br />

fishing Port of Looe on Cornwall’s south coast is amazing -<br />
