iBot: Interactive Chatbot: Connecting the visitor to the<br />
collection<br />
iBot Concept:<br />
Personalised Tour Guide: iBot is a chatbot that visitors<br />
can access and communicate with through existing<br />
Cultural Archive apps. iBot learns about the Cultural<br />
Archive and its collection, exhibits and building in order<br />
to provide useful information and facts for the visitors.<br />
The iBot can learn the layout of the Cultural Archive so<br />
it would be able to direct the individual or group around<br />
the space. The Artificial Intelligence programming allows<br />
the iBot to learn the user’s or groups’s interests in<br />
order to create a unique and personalised experience.<br />
These interests and the users’ visit history, will be<br />
logged on the user’s account.The visitor can also save<br />
their favourite pathways and tours with the iBot. iBot<br />
is unique because it can make suggestions for other<br />
displays or future exhibitions within the archive that the<br />
visitor may like based on what the iBot has learnt about<br />
that individual. These suggestions can be discussed<br />
during the visit and the user can also select to have<br />
notifications even when outside of the Cultural Archive<br />
site. The user can also take pictures of any specific<br />
object in the collection they want to discuss with iBot<br />
by selecting the camera icon on the chat. The Artificial<br />
Intelligence and recognition technology can then<br />
identify this object and provide the information required.<br />
