This year our annual Woodbury Avenue
Fun Day will be a bit different. Working
in collaboration with Jewell Academy
Primary School, the Townsend
Community Association and YMCA
Bournemouth, we'll be running our
biggest event yet. Using the Jewell
Academy playing field and working in
partnership gives us the chance to engage
and support the community much more
than we could by using our building.
We will be running many of the same
kinds of events and stalls, with space for
a 'Find out more' stall and an Alpha stall,
but we'll be doing it alongside friends in
the community. If, like many in the
church, you haven't been “hands-on
involved” in the community, or spent
much time in the area, this is a perfect
opportunity.
There are loads of opportunities to get
involved. If you'd like to help in any way

Comings and Goings ...
DENNIS AND SHEILA EATON return to Malawi on 1
May, where they will be involved in Bible teaching
and pastoral care amongst people living in desperate
physical and spiritual poverty. In addition, in seeking
to evangelise and disciple people in remote areas
where many are illiterate, they will be making
available solar-powered audio players containing the
Bible and Scripture-based messages in the language
of the people. Please pray for much spiritual fruit.
On Friday 18 May ANTOINE will be returning home after two years’
service with Operation Mobilisation in the Far East. Look out for him
at the services on Sunday 20 May!
A date for your diary! On Thursday 31 May at 7.30 pm in the church,
a whole evening is being devoted to hearing from Antoine about these
last two years. This will include a visual presentation. Please come
and encourage Antoine and be encouraged yourself!
