Reflecting the deeply spiritual inclination of his upbringing,
Aung Kyaw Htet’s journey as an artist has been long and
arduous, composed of the culmination of numerous small
steps and borne out of the artist’s inexhaustible resource of
patience. During the period when he worked at a bakery in
Yangon, he saved up little by little for evening classes at the
Yangon State School of Art. His highly realistic scenes of
life in Myanmar is deeply humanistic, imbuing details of the
human face with the artistic expression of the inner spirit of
the subject.

夜 校 。 他 所 畫 的 緬 甸 場 景 極 度 寫 實 , 刻 畫 畫 中 人 物 的 逼 真 情
感 流 露 。
