spirits, including Heritage’s<br />

Batch No. 12 line of spirits and<br />

BSB – Brown Sugar Bourbon,<br />

“We’re hoping to be open (in<br />

our expanded space) before<br />

the first Saturday in June,” said<br />

Heritage CEO Justin Stiefel.<br />

“We’re trying to think about<br />

how to engage customers and<br />

create community around fly<br />

fishing,” Merwin said. “The<br />

education part is huge for us,<br />

and we like to drink beer.”<br />

“On a 3.5-barrel brew house,<br />

a small system, it helps us to<br />

rotate varieties quite a bit,” said<br />

Aaron Johnson, a co-owner who<br />

handles sales and distribution.<br />

“Changing it up and keeping it<br />

fresh is our specialty.”<br />

Wet Coast sources its hops<br />

from the Yakima Valley and<br />

many of its malts are locally<br />

sourced. Tasting room hours are<br />

noon- p.m. Tuesday-Friday and<br />

11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.<br />
