Instead of advertising these in the public notice section of local newspapers, we will publish information on a dedicated webpage, located on ccc.govt.nz/alcohol. <strong>The</strong> webpage will be live from 16 April <strong>2018</strong> for all alcohol licence public notices. Please note there will be a month’s transition period for public notices already arranged by applicants for newspaper publication. By advertising on the same webpage each time, people will know where to go to look for licence application notice and details about public objection timelines. Public notifications will still be for 15 working days, but you will be able to view on the webpage recent notices beyond that time. This is consistent with the requirements of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. You can still view application documents in person at Council offices.
