2018 COMIC CON PALM SPRINGS A Celebration Of Comics, Art, And Pop Culture If you love comics or movies or television shows or science fiction or pop culture, you’re going to love Comic Con Palm Springs where all of this goodness comes together in one thrill-packed location. Comic Con Palm Springs COMIC CON PALM SPRINGS Comic Con Palm Springs takes place August 24-26, with tickets on sale now. For a $50 ticket, you get entrance into the Comic Con as well as the Palm Springs International Animation Festival and Expo (August 22-25), which features animation from all around the world. Comic Con Palm Springs, presented by title sponsor Agua Caliente Resort Casino, draws a wide range of entertainment talent and companies. Featured visitors at this year’s event include actor Edward James Olmos, famous for his roles in the modern remake of the classic science fiction TV show Battlestar Galactica and his classic role in the movie Blade-Runner. Also present at the show this year, among many others, is Kevin Sussman who plays Stuart Bloom from The Big Bang Theory. Comic Con Palm Springs features everything you would expect from a Comic Con event, from celebrity appearances to aisle upon aisle of vendors displaying all the coolest stuff you’re ever going to find under one roof. SPECIAL EVENTS Special events at this year’s Con include a Cosplay Contest with a $1,000 grand prize, The Return Of Twisted Toonz, VR Immersive Gaming, Zombie/Cosplay Walk 3.0, the traveling film festival Geek Fest, a large Lego room with exhibits, the Zombie Cafe Comedy and Music Show, and nightly concerts. BIG BANG: Comic Con Palm Springs features actor Kevin Sussman who plays Stuart Bloom in The Big Bang Theory. Comic Con Palm Springs takes place at the Palm Springs Convention Center at 277 N.
