COMIC CON PALM SPRINGS<br />
Comic Con Palm Springs takes place August 24-26, with<br />
tickets on sale now. For a $50 ticket, you get entrance into the<br />
Comic Con as well as the Palm Springs International Animation<br />
Festival and Expo (August 22-25), which features animation<br />
from all around the world.<br />
Comic Con Palm Springs, presented by title sponsor Agua<br />
Caliente Resort Casino, draws a wide range of entertainment talent<br />
and companies. Featured visitors at this year’s event include<br />
actor Edward James Olmos, famous for his roles in the modern<br />
remake of the classic science fiction TV show Battlestar Galactica<br />
and his classic role in the movie Blade-Runner. Also present<br />
at the show this year, among many others, is Kevin Sussman<br />
who plays Stuart Bloom from The Big Bang Theory.<br />
Comic Con Palm Springs features everything you would<br />
expect from a Comic Con event, from celebrity appearances to<br />
aisle upon aisle of vendors displaying all the coolest stuff you’re<br />
ever going to find under one roof.<br />
SPECIAL EVENTS<br />
Special events at this year’s Con include a Cosplay Contest with<br />
a $1,000 grand prize, The Return Of Twisted Toonz, VR Immersive<br />
Gaming, Zombie/Cosplay Walk 3.0, the traveling film festival Geek<br />
Fest, a large Lego room with exhibits, the Zombie Cafe Comedy and<br />
Music Show, and nightly concerts.<br />
