Grace Bible Fellowship VBS Game On!
Grace Bible Fellowship Church of Nazareth is pleased to announce
Game On! Vacation Bible School will be held June 18th–22nd.
Children from age 4 through those who have completed grade six
will meet at the church from 6:00pm-8:30pm each evening to enjoy
Bible lessons, games, music, crafts, snacks, and more. Grab your
megaphones, lace up your cleats, and tune up your horn. It’s time
to gear up for the big game - life! God has given us everything we
need. He’s given us His complete word as the ultimate playbook.
So what are you waiting for? This is Spirit Week 2018. It’s Game

Monroe County Garden Club Bus Trip to Chanticleer Garden
The Monroe County Garden Club is sponsoring a bus trip to
Chanticleer Garden, on Wednesday, June 20th. The trip includes a
90 minute tour of garden and house and includes lunch at a local
restaurant. Bus pickup 8:15 am at Stroud Mall Bon Ton Parking
lot4:30 drop off at Stroud Mall. Seating is limited, reservation

HBBA Motorcycle & Car Show
The Historic Bangor Business Association HBBA will host a
Motorcycle and Car Show on Saturday, June 23rd, 9:00am-2:00pm
on Broadway, Bangor, PA. Trophies & Prizes, Pre-Register your car of

Swing at the Stand
The 16th annual “Swing at the Stand” will be held on Saturday,
June 23rd, 4:00m pm-?? at Weona Park, Rt. 512, in Pen Argyl.
Please bring a finger food to share, your own beverage, and lawn
chair. Listen and dance to the Oldies and meet with old friends.
Everyone is welcome! The event will be held rain or shine!
Bangor Elks Lodge # 1106 Annual Golf Tournament
The 18th annual Bangor Elks Lodge #1106 golf tournament that
benefits major projects will be held on Monday June 25th, at
Whitetail Golf Course. It is a four person scramble format. Cost
includes golf, cart, prizes, cookout lunch and beverages. A hole-inone
is sponsored by Dotta Auto Sales. Please call the Bangor Elks

Upper Mt Bethel and Portland 2nd Annual July 4th Parade
The 2nd Annual Upper Mt Bethel and Portland July 4th Parade will
be held on Wednesday, July 4th, at 11:00am. Rain or Shine.
Parade begins at 4136 Church Street in Mt Bethel and proceeds
through the business district of Portland ( Rt 611) and finishes at the
William Pensyl Social Hall in Portland. Complimentary refreshments
will be provided. Anyone who would like to participate by marching
in the parade in a patriotic costume, riding their decorated bicycle or
making and riding in a float visit UMBT.org for a registration form.
Slate Belt Photography Club
Meetings are held every 2nd Thursday of the Month at 7:00pm at
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 404 Broadway, Bangor, Pa.
