NEW RECRUIT BOOSTS CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ELLESCO<br />

As one of the UK’s leading providers of deburring and surface finishing equipment and<br />

systems, Ellesco has developed a reputation for high levels of customer support and service.<br />

This will now be enhanced by the appointment of Armin Berndt to the role of applications<br />

engineer.<br />

Armin will be using his extensive knowledge of the sector to provide detailed customer<br />

support across the full range of equipment offered by Ellesco, whether that be its range of<br />

consumable items for deburring and finishing or, the machines and systems that make use of<br />

those consumables, specifically Timesavers’ range of rotary brush and belt deburring, edge<br />

rounding, finishing and oxide removal<br />

part of Ellesco’s continuing success in this<br />

In his new role as managing director of<br />

Mollart Engineering, Ian Petitt has set a 10<br />

year target to progressively build the<br />

business from a £17 million operation to a<br />

£30 million turnover international company<br />

with enhanced return on investment to<br />

support its machine tool sales, tooling and<br />

sub-contract manufacturing operations.<br />

Mr Petitt has been employed by Mollart<br />

for some 22 years of which 18 have been<br />

served in the role of sales director which has<br />

returned highly successful worldwide sales<br />

for its machine tool operations. Orders have<br />

been frequently won against very<br />

competitive international deep hole drilling<br />

companies to supply machines to the USA,<br />

Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, India,<br />

Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe.<br />

Said Mr Petitt: “Mollart is an international<br />

UK business with a very strong and<br />

experienced team in deep hole drilling<br />

technology that has led to well over 95 per<br />

cent of the 1,000 machines built being<br />

exported. In running the business, I will<br />

draw further on our international reputation<br />

and experience to continue to enhance our<br />

success in the customisation of our standard<br />

machine build portfolio and special<br />

application development which often<br />

involves automation and bespoke solutions<br />

SCHUNK GROWS TEAM WITH NEW<br />

AREA SALES MANAGER<br />

welcomed a new area sales manager to its expanding UK team. As the latest addition to the<br />

team, Mr. Gerry Cook will be covering London and the South East area for clamping<br />

will be a key addition to the existing sales<br />
