EHL ADMISSIONS CRITERIA EHL SELECTION PROCESS
Academic requirements
The basic academic requirement is completion of a final secondary
school diploma that leads to university admissions in the country where
the student completed his or her secondary education.
Candidates presenting an IB diploma are expected to achieve a
minimum of 28 points to be eligible for admission
Candidates enrolled in the British secondary education curriculum
are expected to present 3 A levels with an average of B, with no
grade under C
Language requirements
Knowledge of a second language
TOEFL (100 iBT), IELTS academic module (7.0) or CAE (A or B)
APPLICATION DEADLINES AND SELECTION DAYS FOR ENTRY AS OF SEPTEMBER 6, 2011
Candidates are encouraged to apply early. The table below specifies which application deadline applies for the Selection Day for which a candidate
wishes to be considered and when he/she will subsequently receive the final decision from EHL’s Admission Commission.

SELECTION DAYS ABROAD
Candidates should submit a complete application online. Following a
first evaluation, candidates may be invited to participate in a selection
day at EHL.
The selection day comprises the following activities:
A quantitative and analytical aptitude test (computer-based)
A hospitality aptitude test (computer-based)
A selection interview
A role play exercise
In addition to academic potential, candidates are selected based on:
Leadership potential and interpersonal skills
Motivation for a career in the international hospitality industry
Motivation to study at EHL
Selection Days Final admission decision
* Final application deadline for candidates applying for direct entry into year 1 or year 2 of the Bachelor programme, scholarship applicants
and visa candidates.

Candidates wishing to be considered for an EHL selection day abroad must submit their complete online application no later than 1 February 2011.
Candidates who participate in a selection day abroad will receive their final EHL admission decision by mid April 2011.
