refurnish a room for a family that has found
itself on hard times and is temporarily staying
at the Menchville House. If you would
like to make a difference in the lives of these
residents as well as the staff of the Menchville
House, please call Eugenia Jackson on her cell

VPAR Charitable Foundation Chatter
Wow! Half of the year has already passed us
by and your Foundation is rocking and rolling.
We have hosted two fundraisers since the first
of the year, the Movie Night in January and the
Golf Tournament in May. Through your efforts
and participation, we have raised over $5000
which 100% will be donated to local housing
related charities
However, not all of our support for our charities
are fundraisers. We have committed to
helping out our charities with four specific
outreach programs in 2018. Currently, Eugenia
Jackson and Dee Karlsson are co-chairing
the “Menchville House Extreme Room Make
Over Event.” This is a new outreach for us and
we are all excited about this. In a nutshell, affiliates
and brokers can form teams to sponsor
rooms at the Menchville House. To date, we
have 5, maybe 6 organizations signed up to
makeover a room(s). This is simply amazing.
If you decide to throw your support into
this most worthy cause, your duties would
be to simply paint, make minor repairs and
Later on this summer/fall, Jim Wetzel will be
coordinating with Habitat for Humanity to
spend a day helping construction on a new
home in our area, again, for a needy and most
deserving family. Stay tuned for more information
as it comes together.
