in memory of Justin Aria
A CELEBRATION of the life of Putney youngster Justin Aria, who tragically
passed away earlier this year, will be held on Saturday July 14 at Putney
Bowlo, 68 Frances Road, Putney from 2pm.

and celebrate the life
of two ‘together forever’
twins - Justin and Aliesha
Aria - with a day of Barefoot
Bowls and reminiscing
about great times.
The event will raise
awareness for suicide and
to support the incredible
foundation Beyond Blue.
Justin and Aliesha were
born 25 years ago on July
14, 1993 to local identities
Tracey and Alan Aria.
Sadly, Aliesha lost her
twin brother in devastating
circumstances with Justin
missed by so many, especially
his family.
Tickets $30 per head
includes bowls and light
meal at 6pm.
Beyond Barefoot includes
drinks at club

Concord West Biggest Morning Tea
raises $14,500 for Cancer Council
LOCAL residents Fernanda Cicciari and Filomena Cavallaro gathered the community together recently at St
Ambrose Primary School in Concord West for a cup of tea and bite to eat, all in the name of a cancer free future,
raising a staggering $14,500 and counting.
The Biggest Morning
Tea included
plenty of fun activities
such as hair styling,
a silent auction,
raffle and lucky door
prizes plus plenty of
delicious treats including
homemade
cakes and biscuits.
All funds raised on
the day went towards
Cancer Council’s research,
prevention,
advocacy and support
services.
Sisters Fernanda
and Filomena were
motivated to hold
this event in memory
of their father
who passed away
from bowel cancer in
2008.

new tutors for its classes in the rooms of St
Columbs church in West Ryde.
They’d like to hear
from anyone who has
some knowledge about
using computers, has a
sense of humour, and

have to say. Having
lost loved ones to
this disease recently
and having others
who continue to
fight every day - we
are happy to honour
those we have lost
and help raise money
that will go to fund
research, prevention
and support services
