2018 Northern Districts Business
Awards Nominations Have Closed
The Northern Districts community has thrown its support behind its local
businesses with thousands of nominations received for this year’s Northern
Districts Local Business Awards.
Nominations for the awards have closed and counting is underway to determine this year’s
finalists.
Precedent Productions Managing Director
and Awards founder Steve Loe said Northern
Districts residents had taken particular
advantage of the opportunity to
lodge nominations via the Awards’
website.
Online nominations have
become popular this year with
more customers selecting this
method, rather than posting a
printed coupon.
“This year, more people
than ever took the opportunity
to nominate their favourite
businesses online,” Mr Loe said.
“Coupled with the printed
coupons, we were inundated with
thousands of nominations.
“The Northern Districts community is closeknit
and parochial in the very best sense of the
word as they support each other and celebrate
everyone’s achievements.
“That’s just one of the many reasons why so
many people choose to live, work and operate
businesses in the area.”
The Precedent Productions teamhave already
started to review the nominations, find the most
popular nominees in each business category
and notify those who are chosen as finalists.
The Awards’ anonymous judges will then visit
each finalist to assess their services from a
customer’s point of view.
Her access to public radio
broadcasts to nationwide
audiences gave her
a secure channel to transmit
coded messages and
also assisted her more
underhand activities.
The talk will be followed
by refreshments
her recently.
Roy Leembruggen
inventor of the double
decker electric
trains and pioneer electric
vehicle promoter
would’ve been 90 on
Monday but unfortunately
died recently.
He could’ve died of a
broken heart because
of Gladys Berejiklian’s
change of heart in
wrecking Sydney with
trams when she was going
to introduce electric
buses when in opposition
with meetings introduced
by JB.
When becoming
Transport Minister and
now Premier she says
she “changed her mind”
as did then premier
Barry O’Farrell.
JB asked Premier Berejiklian
at the National
Press Club luncheon
meeting in Sydney recently
“who changed
your mind and has she
checked his or her Swiss
bank account”.
Roy Leembruggen
was insistent that the
light rail (tram) lobby
is the richest and most
influential in the world
and they have been
fined by the FBI for
nearly two billion dollars
for corruption in
every continent except
Australia – yet.
Premier Berejiklian
treated JB’s question
with disdain and instead
flippantly invited me to
be her guest on the first
journey down George
Street.
I replied: she may not
be premier when that
happens!
of Snowden Parkes real
estate fame celebrates
will celebrate with children
