These pre Christmas breaks are a great, fun way to enjoy the
run up to Christmas with cuisine and entertainment in hotels
decorated for the festive period.
One of the most popular destinations with our customers, Eastbourne
is a refined Victorian seaside resort offering a fine array of facilities
for tourists. There is a lovely level promenade, attractive gardens,
a splendid Victorian pier, theatres, an art gallery and excellent
shopping and cafes where you can watch the world go by – perfect
for a relaxing break away from it all. The town is surrounded by the
stunning South Downs with a wealth of excursion possibilities in the
region. We are delighted to be staying at the excellent 3* New
Wilmington Hotel for this Turkey ‘n’ Tinsel break. The hotel has a
great position and will be fully decorated with a festive menu and

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your
local pick up point home (approx.
9.30am) we have a stop on route for
lunch before arriving at the hotel midafternoon
with time for a stroll. Join the
hotel Management Team in the bar
lounge for a welcoming complimentary
sherry, before a special candle-lit dinner
with a particularly crafty table game
(more details on the night) and a little
gift (Santa must have come early!)
DAY 2: After breakfast we travel along
the coast to Brighton. We drop in the
centre of town – plenty to see in this
cosmopolitan town – stroll through
The Lanes area of old shops and cafes,
visit the Royal Pavilion and brace Palace
Pier. Join in with the afternoon Bingo
and perhaps have a drink before a
sumptuous Christmas dinner with party
hats, crackers, streamers, along with a
complimentary glass of wine. It’s party
time after with live entertainment.
New Wilmington Hotel HHH

in Eastbourne, the New Wilmington

With a recently renovated bar and
restaurant the hotel is perfect for a
relaxing break, only a 2 minute walk
from the seafront and close to the
town centre shops and attractions.

making facilities and hairdryer.
In the stylish restaurant there will
be a 4 course dinner with choice of
menu and Full English Breakfast.
DAY 3: A free day today for you to relax
around the hotel and explore the town.
The hotel is ideally located close to the
amenities. Start the ‘New Year Party’
with a complimentary glass of Bucks
Fizz before taking your seats for the
New Years Eve banquet including Rabbie Burns “a great Chieftain o’ the
pudding race” that will be ceremonially piped in by our very own Scottish Piper.
Party poppers and blowers will add to the festivities. Live entertainment and the
Table Game competition winners will be presented with their prizes by your host
Sue. At New Wilmington’s midnight (11.00pm) – the New Year will be welcomed
in with Auld Lang Syne followed by sausage rolls.
DAY 4: Sadly, we leave Eastbourne and head home, stopping in the historic
town of Chichester for lunch before returning to the local area around
3.00/4.00pm.

Paignton – 3* Queens Hotel –
Turkey & Tinsel
Come along for a fun festive break away at this popular
hotel in Paignton on the beautiful English Riviera. Turkey &
Tinsel breaks are a great, fun way to enjoy the run up to
Christmas with cuisine and entertainment in hotels
decorated for the festive period.
After the arrival of the railway this fishing village was transformed and
became a favourite retreat for the Victorians. The long and flat seafront
esplanade offers lovely views across Torbay with leisure facilities for the
visitor. The town has some lovely public gardens and good shopping with
an abundance of cafes and restaurants. For those who like to explore on
their own why not catch a bus along the coast road to the neighbouring
towns of Torquay or Brixham. We are delighted to be staying at the
3* Queens Hotel which will be fully decorated and have a party
atmosphere with nightly entertainment and festive cuisine. Join the fun!!

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your
local pick up point around 9.00am we
have comfort stops as required before
arriving at the hotel mid-afternoon.
Enjoy a complimentary tea, coffee and
mince pie with a drinks reception in
the evening before dinner followed by
entertainment with cabaret acts.
DAY 2: “Christmas Day”
Enjoy a full English breakfast before
we have a meeting with the man of
the moment and a small gift from
Santa. Free time in the day to explore
Paignton or the surrounding area
before a Christmas Quiz with tea,
coffee and Christmas Cake. In the
evening, prepare for a delicious
traditional Christmas Dinner with all
the trimmings. Afterwards enjoy some
excellent cabaret entertainment.
DAY 3: “New Year’s Eve”
Today, after breakfast, your driver will
arrange for a mystery excursion out
to a local destination before returning
in the afternoon for a glass of mulled
wine and mince pie in the lounge.
Tonight, it’s the final evening New
Years Eve Gala Dinner followed by
cash bingo, fancy dress and fantastic
cabaret entertainment. See in the
New Year in style!
Queens Hotel HHH
It’s a firm favourite with our
customers – situated on the level,
only 200m between the seafront
and town centre. Leisure facilities
at the hotel include an indoor
swimming pool, games room,
lounges, a dance floor and a bar.
Every night there is superb quality
entertainment to enjoy and make
the most of your holiday. The food
in the restaurant has an excellent
reputation serving a Full English
breakfast and a 5 course evening
meal. The comfortable en-suite
bedrooms have colour TV,
telephone and tea/coffee making
facilities. There is a passenger lift
for your convenience.
DAY 4: Another full English breakfast
