WMA Schedules<br />
Camp Beauregard<br />
Owner: <strong>Louisiana</strong> National Guard (12,500 acres, Minden Office)<br />
Daily military clearance is required for all recreational users. All or portions of the<br />
area may be closed daily due to military activities. Consult maps posted on Self-Clearing<br />
Permit Stations for closed areas. Should no maps be posted, call 318-641-3355 or 318-<br />
641-3365 for information on open areas before entering the WMA.<br />
Retriever training allowed on selected portions of the WMA. Contact the Minden Field<br />
Office for specific details. Swimming in Twin Lakes prohibited.<br />
Area Closed: Nov. 12-13 to all EXCEPT Youth and Disabled Veterans Lottery Deer Hunters.<br />
Deer Archery (either-sex): Oct. 1 - Jan. 31<br />
Deer Youth (either-sex): Nov. 12-13, on designated portion of the WMA.<br />
Disabled Veterans Lottery (either-sex): Nov. 12-13, on designated portion of the WMA.<br />

Deer Firearms (bucks only): Dec. 26 - Jan. 1<br />
Deer Primitive Firearms (either-sex): Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 10-11, mandatory deer check.<br />
All deer harvested must be brought to Rifle Range Road Weigh Station.<br />
Turkey: March 25 - April 2<br />
Small Game and Waterfowl: Same as outside EXCEPT WATERFOWL CLOSED after 2<br />
p.m. and EXCEPT CLOSED Nov. 12-13 & 25-26 and Dec. 10-11 and EXCEPT CLOSED to<br />
squirrel hunting during the spring season. Beagles allowed for rabbits and dogs<br />
allowed for squirrel hunting Jan. 7 - Feb. 28.<br />
Raccoon (nighttime): Jan. 28 - Feb. 28<br />
Fishing: Special regulations to be posted at Twin Lakes<br />
Clear Creek<br />
Owner: Hancock Timber (52,559 acres. Lake Charles Office)<br />
Area Closed: Oct. 22-23 to all EXCEPT Youth Deer Hunters.<br />
Physically Challenged Wheelchair-confined Deer <strong>Hunting</strong> Area: Access restricted. Check<br />
WMA map for location and call Lake Charles or Baton Rouge offices for details and<br />
applications. <strong>Hunting</strong> by reservation for wheelchair confined PCHP permittees only.<br />
