born Pianist Nikolai Demidenko has performed with major<br />
Orchestras worldwide, including <strong>the</strong> Prague Symphony;<br />
<strong>the</strong> BBC <strong>National</strong> Orchestra of Wales; St Petersburg<br />
Philharmonic; Orchestre <strong>National</strong> de France; Halle and <strong>the</strong><br />
Melbourne Symphony. Recognised not only as a master<br />
of <strong>the</strong> Russian repertoire but also for his authoritative<br />
performances of <strong>com</strong>posers as diverse as Chopin, Scarlatti<br />
and Weber, he plays with glorious passion and subtle,<br />

Guy Johnson has be<strong>com</strong>e a fast-rising star on <strong>the</strong><br />
international stage, after his extraordinary debut at <strong>the</strong> BBC<br />
Proms, performing <strong>the</strong> Elgar Cello Concerto with <strong>the</strong> BBC<br />
Symphony Orchestra under Leonard Slatkin. Recently, he has<br />
enjoyed successes with <strong>the</strong> London Philharmonic, CBSO,<br />
English Chamber Orchestra and <strong>the</strong> BBC Scottish Symphony.<br />
Huw Watkins has been described by The Independent on<br />
Sunday as ‘a pianist of alert intelligence and a <strong>com</strong>poser<br />
with something to say’. His concerto engagements have<br />
included <strong>the</strong> Nor<strong>the</strong>rn Sinfonia, Grace Williams’ Sinfonia<br />
Concertante with <strong>the</strong> BBC Symphony Orchestra and his own<br />
Piano Concerto with <strong>the</strong> BBC <strong>National</strong> Orchestra of Wales<br />

and winners of <strong>the</strong> Tunnell Trust Award 2010/2011, <strong>the</strong> Piatti<br />
String Quartet are fast emerging as <strong>the</strong> UK’s leading young<br />
