Summer Treasure Hunt
in Harleston
Take part in the Harleston Summer Treasure
Hunt to put your detective skills to the test.
Buy a leaflet for £1 from Robinsons Traditional
Stationers or the Swan Hotel and have a chance of winning a £25
prize voucher. Closing date 31st August.
The leaflet will guide you on a trail round the town and you will
need to answer some questions and identify some photographs
where the answer will be in the nearby surroundings. Finally, you
will need to look at the beautiful GoGoHare sculpture situated at St
John’s Church and answer a question about the hare. The
Treasure Hunt can be taken by one person or by a group, (only
one leaflet is needed by a group). Good luck!
More details about the GoGoHare and information about Harleston
events and news can be found at www.visitharleston.org.uk
Brockdish Church
A huge thank you to all who helped and attended the open
garden event in June. You helped raise over £1,000 for the
upkeep of the Church building.
Needless to say none of this would have taken place if not for
the kindness and generosity of the owners of the Grange and
the Grove who made their gardens available.
The pet service in June was well attended by humans and pets
alike! It was a great atmosphere with 14 dogs, 1 cat, 2
chickens, 1 giant African snail and Clarence the Llama. Thank
you to all who attended and taking part in a most enjoyable
afternoon.
We look forward to next year.
