All Saints Church, Thorpe Abbotts<br />
When the Chelmsford Motor Club wrote to advise of their<br />
intended rally on Saturday 16 th June we decided that this was<br />
an event not to be missed. The rally was primarily held on land<br />
which was Thorpe Abbotts airfield but there was a navigational<br />
course set through our village. It was therefore decided to invite<br />
people along to the pump to watch the cars go by and have<br />
some refreshments with friends and neighbours.. So a big thank<br />
you to all who came along and to those that provided food and<br />
drinks.<br />
Likewise when the Pink Tractor run passed through the village<br />
the PCC provided snacks and drinks for those who attended. A<br />
collection was made for the Breast Cancer appeal. Thanks<br />
again to all who helped with this event and to those who<br />
attended supporting this annual charity appeal.<br />
The annual bike, ride and walk organised by the Norfolk<br />
Churches Trust takes place on Saturday 8 th Septermber. A fun<br />
day out for all stopping off at as many churches and chapels as<br />
