8 BY GULDSMEDEN HOTELS OUR BREAK FAST The signature Guldsmeden Hotels breakfast is one of our defining assets, and has been a part of us since the very beginning. We pride ourselves on giving our guests a new and exciting breakfast experience, without compromising on the morning comfort food that we all need and love. The breakfast is sustainably sourced from beginning to end, and the variation and possibilities are endless. A great selection of breads and croissants, fresh boiled and scrambled eggs, the best crispy pancetta, Danish ham and salamis, mounds of fresh cheeses and butter, bowls of sliced fruit and platters of the best cakes, chock-full of nuts, dried fruit and honey NEED TO GET CLEANED UP? We have laundry service at most of our hotels ask in reception for times & rates followed by our absolutely mandatory homemade special yoghurts topped with homemade brownbread cereal, acacia honey and almonds. Dig in, and you won’t feel hungry again before evening! LOVE FOOD HATE WASTE Guldsmeden Hotels have always had a preference for local and sustainable products – especially those that we eat and drink – and we must admit that we are becoming quite fundamentalist in our old age. We place great emphasis on healthy ingredients and consideration for seasonal and local produce. Our joy in all the wonderful flavours that nature has to offer, combined with an innate curiosity, creates a steady flow of culinary surprises, always based on the fundamental principles of sustainability. Our restaurants are big on flavour - simple and abundant, rustic and delicious, our menu is made up of the highest quality sustainably sourced fresh ingredients, lovingly grown and bred by a number of small and mainly local suppliers. As is probably evident, we REALLY love our food – and spend a LOT of time sourcing it, cooking and tasting it, and enjoying it… And with that food love comes a reluctance to throw any of it out. So we have asked around, collected knowledge and ideas, and perfected a number of techniques and good habits to enable us to make the very most of our beloved food. Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge Manon´s Rooftop Restaurant offers an amazing view while serving signature cocktails, the very best in wine, beer, soft drinks and a mouth-watering menu of French bistro classics with a Guldsmeden twist. There´s something for everyone, and you can enjoy your selected favourites while lounging on the soft rooftop beds or enjoying the view from the tables in the restaurant.

Café du Nord will hopefully grow to be a meeting hub for lovers of good food and good vibes. All sustainably sourced, as with all our food & drink, the Café du Nord will work with the classic bistro dishes, but often with a twist in an unexpected direction – why be boring ? Danish TAP WATER We’re lucky in Denmark for many reasons! There´s hygge and candelight in the winter, long light evenings in the summer, and apparently we´re the happiest people on the planet… One thing many of us take for granted is the fresh, clear drinking water that comes out of every tap in the country. Denmark is one of the very few countries in the world that can provide all the water we need from ground water and it´s actually of an even better quality than any fancy bottled bottled stuff you can buy in the stores. So drink up and enjoy, while you´re here – and we´ll remember to appreciate our good fortune, we promise!
