I am an Artist and Tu<strong>to</strong>r. I studied Fine Art and for <strong>the</strong> last 16 years I have painted and taught at Brambles Art Retreat in Devon<br />
with my partner Janet Brady. I work in various media; I enjoy working directly from life but also like <strong>to</strong> develop more abstract ideas<br />
in studio works.<br />

I work in created textiles, weaving, spinning and dyeing, using natural fibres and<br />
dyes, though I have recently expanded my practice <strong>to</strong> include monofilament, foiling<br />
and devore. Inspiration comes from <strong>the</strong> inherent qualities of <strong>the</strong> materials and <strong>the</strong><br />
challenge of introducing curves in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> grid of a warp and weft. I am a member of<br />
Devon Guild of Craftsmen.<br />
