Sonnet- It Dawned Upon Me<br />
When will I meet her who’ll be by my side,<br />
Who I’ll always parade with roses, her<br />
Everything I’ll cherish with all my pride<br />
My dearest with a charming character.<br />
My world right now is oh so gray,<br />
Lacking color, perpetually night.<br />
I know she’ll appear and light up the way<br />
To a land so wondrous, full of delight.<br />
For someone special in my life, how long?<br />
How long have I waited and yearned for her?<br />
Somehow, maybe, I have been looking somewhere wrong.<br />
Too focused at skies, at too far of matters.<br />
She was by my side all along, so it dawned.<br />
But now, it is too late and she is gone.
