I was staring at my reflection, making sure I looked decent.<br />
My blue eyes seemed lost in the iris. A strand of light brown<br />
hair fell above my eye, and I shoved it back only for it to bounce<br />
back again. I heaved a sigh. I was jumping nervously. I had just<br />
summed up all courage and asked Eve.<br />
I remembered how her rosy cheeks lifted and eyelashes<br />
fluttered over her striking green eyes. She tucked her strawberry<br />
blonde hair and was finding a word. I stared at her lips, my voice<br />
failing me. Her lips lifted and I was so terrified of her answer,<br />
but she chuckled.<br />
“Thought you’d never ask.”<br />
Relief washed over me but what surprised me, even more,<br />
was the kiss. Eve tiptoed and what on her face was the brightest<br />
smile that could light up the darkest soul and warm the furthest<br />
planet from the sun. She stared into my eyes before grabbing<br />
my neck and raised her lips to mine. Our lips moved to our<br />
heartbeats, and at that moment, I felt like my world just started.<br />
