Robert Chapman
I love being part of the tradition of Clinton Public Schools.
As a student, the push to become my best was not only an
expectation coming from my parents but also from the
teachers. After graduating in 2003, I was more than
prepared for the challenges that college brought.
Plus, the confidence I gained through the various activities
allowed me to try new things and seek new adventures.
I am now a teacher at Clinton High, and I challenge my
students every day in the same manner my own teachers did.
I know what kind of greatness CPSD produces, and it’s my
job to continue Clinton’s tradition of excellence while also
striving to make the future a better place.
My favorite thing was the life-long friendships I made.
I developed friendships with three other ladies from Clinton.
We have been through the ups and downs of life together
and supported and loved each other like family. These 36-year
friendships are grounded from our experiences
in Clinton and high school.
My favorite thing was that high school life didn’t end at
the final bell. Some of the best experiences took place after
school, during club meetings, sports practices, and
rehearsals. Track practice, basketball practice, and
even filming for the football team were all different
experiences for me with different people.
