This exhibition marks the centenary of the end<br />

of the First World War and remembers the<br />

contribution of servicemen from Worksop and<br />

district. Information and photographs from the<br />

library’s Local Studies collection tell the stories<br />

drawing ability required. This year’s theme is<br />

Play! -for kids and big kids alike. It’s all about<br />

happened when the circus visited the library!<br />

The exhibition centrepiece, created by the<br />

wonderful automata maker Keith Newstead,<br />

illustrates the hilarious antics that ensued. Keith<br />

was inspired by pupils from 12 Nottinghamshire<br />

Primary Schools and the fantastic professional<br />

artist Emma Reynard. They all had fun letting<br />

their imaginations, creativity and pencils run<br />

wild to produce an exhibition that celebrates<br />

fabulous libraries, amazing automata and the<br />

ever playful Big Draw!<br />
