Remembrance Poppy Project
We have several people already knitting, crocheting and stitching poppies for our
attempt to suspend a cascade of poppies from the church tower in November. This
will be to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War.
Our current total as of 20th August, is:
2087
We need more volunteers! Can you help?
We will holding Poppy Craft sessions in the Church Rooms, details of times and
dates will be published in the Parish News, church noticeboard and on social
media . Come and have a cup of tea/coffee and share in creating poppies. Help
and/or tuition will be given if you’re not sure where to start.
