Stourhead at Christmas - National Trust<br />

One of the best National Trust destinations in the South of England and a feast for<br />
the senses at this festive time of year! The Palladian Mansion is full of Georgian<br />
treasures, Chippendale furniture and fine paintings. At Christmas a massive effort is<br />
made by the National Trust volunteers to show the house off as it would have been<br />
in it's pomp, with painstakingly hand crafted decorations and displays. The<br />
celebrated 18th Century landscaped gardens of Stourhead are world famous and<br />
your first sight of the lake will leave you amazed. There are stunning views around<br />
the grounds and gothic temples and monuments surround the tranquil lake. Plenty<br />
of time here to explore plus enjoy a lovely lunch in the NT restaurant. This really is an<br />
amazing destination and is well worth a visit. Price includes entrance.<br />

Warner - Christmas Lunch & Festive Show<br />

Come along and join us for some festive fun at the 4* Warner Lakeside Coastal<br />
Holiday Village beautifully located on Hayling Island. Arriving around midday with<br />
time to take a look at the resort before our delicious 3 course Christmas Dinner in<br />
the restaurant. After lunch we move to the cabaret room for some fun Dicey<br />
Reindeer Racing - place your bets on the winner! And after all that, there's still time<br />

Stunningly located against the backdrop of the magnificent Cathedral and centred<br />
around an outdoor ice rink these Christmas Markets have proved to be really<br />
popular. Inspired by the Continental Markets, beautifully decorated wooden chalets<br />
offer unusual gifts and traditional foods to enjoy including festive favourites such as,<br />
mulled wine, bratwurst, mince pies and stollen. Alternatively, the Cathedral Refectory<br />
and ice rink café provide a warm and comfortable setting with plenty of seating and<br />

Great value day out to the excellent WestQuay shopping centre in the centre of<br />
Southampton at Christmas time. Choose from over 100 stores including John Lewis,<br />
Marks & Spencer, Dorothy Perkins, Gap, Evans, Wallis and Next. On the top level<br />
there is a superb selection of restaurants to choose from - Nando's, Pizza Express,<br />
The Chicago Rib Shack, Wagamama and many more... The massive Ikea store is<br />
close by if you want some inspirational ideas for the home.<br />

Devon & Dorset Christmas Pub Lunch<br />

Come along for some festive fun as we enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Dorset<br />
and East Devon before stopping at the excellent Hare & Hounds Pub near Sidmouth.<br />
This traditional country pub has wooden beams and log fires with lovely views down<br />
to Sidmouth and the sea. We have included a delicious 2 course Christmas Lunch<br />
with all the trimmings including a dessert. Afterwards we shall head in to Sidmouth<br />
with time to stroll along the seafront and explore the shops. Great day out.<br />

Christmas at Blenheim Evening Light Trail & Oxford ROUTE &<br />
Memorable day out before Christmas as we first travel to Oxford for a couple of<br />
hours of free time in the city centre. The historic buildings in the town centre really<br />
come alive at Christmas - time for something to eat, do some shopping or visit one<br />
of the excellent museums. Late afternoon we board the coach and head north to<br />
Blenheim Palace. After a very well received display last year we have booked for<br />
admission to the Evening Light Trail. Follow the trail through the Formal Gardens<br />
with a spectacular display of lights and projections. Discover singing Christmas<br />
Trees, swaying lawns of colour and brightly lit boats on the Great Lake. Warming<br />
Festive Food will be available for you after the trail. Price includes admission to trail.<br />

The city of dreaming spires will again be filled with festive joy as the Oxford<br />
Christmas Market returns to the heart of the city on beautiful and historic Broad<br />
Street. With the sound of choirs singing Christmas carols, market traders offering<br />
unusual and handmade gifts, colourful decorations brightening wooden stalls and<br />
the aroma of mulled wine and cinnamon drifting in the air. The beautiful colleges<br />
have been a place of learning for over 800 years making the city a world class tourist<br />
destination. Very pedestrian friendly, Oxford is a bustling cosmopolitan town with a<br />
lovely riverside setting and a lively mix of restaurants, bars and shops. There are also<br />
an amazing selection of superb museums in the city centre.<br />

We shall have a comfort stop in Dorchester before our lunchtime arrival at this<br />
superb family run Garden Centre, one of the best in the country which is<br />
transformed in to a Winter Wonderland at Christmas time. It’s a great place to get<br />
some fresh ideas so come along and get some special Christmas decorations, a<br />
festive plant or unusual gift. For many the freshly prepared food available in the<br />
restaurant - now bigger and better, is a highlight of the day. Absolutely delicious!<br />

Christmas Carol Singalong at Central Hall, Westminster ROUTE K<br />
This year’s show has moved from the Royal Albert Hall to the historic Central Hall in<br />
Westminster. A really popular day out last year – enjoyed by all who attended. Clap<br />
your hands… stamp your feet… and sing your heart out as irrepressible showman<br />
Jonathan Cohen returns to lead you through another fun-filled jamboree of his mostloved<br />
carols and all-time Christmas hits. This festive favourite has been raising the<br />
roof for over 20 years. Includes classic Christmas songs from Jingle Bells to Let it<br />
Snow through to carols from Away in a Manger to Good King Wenceslas and much<br />
much more. Includes special guest Louise Dearman and the London Concert<br />

Christmas at Longleat - The Festival of Light<br />

lanterns transform Longleat as darkness falls. This year the extraordinary Festival of<br />
Light will take you on A Fantastic Voyage! Journey through time and space with the<br />
three new Longleat characters. In each scene the trio can be found exploring<br />
wondrous locations, from the exotic to the glacial, filled with astonishing creatures,<br />
magnificent scenery, stunning structures and sensational modes of transportation.<br />
You will be enthralled as a rocket ship blasts off into the dazzling solar system,<br />
gargantuan dinosaurs loom from prehistoric vegetation and medieval knights on<br />
horseback surround a castle’s battlements with bows and swords drawn. The<br />
seasonal spectacle continues with the 15 metre Enchanted Christmas Tree Show,<br />
Longleat House dressed for a 1920s Christmas and the much loved Santa Train. Plus,<br />
enjoy all the popular animal and adventure attractions, including the Safari Drivethrough,<br />
