WELCOME
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following another exciting year at King’s Leadership Academy, I am pleased to report that student outcomes have
improved even further under the expert guidance of their teachers.
This year 89% of students passed their English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above, making King’s the second
highest performing Free School nationally in that category.
65.3% of students achieved strong passes in English and Mathematics at grade 5 or above.
85% of students passed 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics and 21% achieved grade 7s (As) or higher in
5 or more subjects including English and Mathematics.
60% of students passed the English Baccalaureate with grade 4 ( C) or higher. Progress in the English
Baccalaureate was also very strong, with students placing in the top percentile nationally.
A number of students achieved 5 or more grade 9s, which is the top grade available. With one student achieving
grade 9s across all subjects, placing them in the top 0.003% of the population. At King’s we are very proud of all
of our students and realise that none of this would have been possible without your ongoing belief in us.
