Register Post-Paid lines<br />

before final Deactivation<br />

The Telecommunications Regulatory<br />

Authority (TRA) in the Kingdom of<br />

Bahrain reminds subscribers who have<br />

failed to register their post-paid SIM<br />

cards before the 2nd of <strong>Sep</strong>tember <strong>2018</strong>,<br />

to register again by 2nd December <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

TRA further clarifies that failing<br />

to register within the specified period<br />

result in suspension of the service on<br />

a temporary basis, failing to register<br />

again during the suspension period will<br />

result in final deactivation by the 2nd<br />

of December <strong>2018</strong>. This initiative is part<br />

of the Authority’s on-ongoing efforts to<br />

protect and safeguard subscribers from<br />

fraud and identity theft.<br />

TRA advises subscribers to visit<br />

their service providers and present<br />

verification documents to complete<br />

registration and avoid deactivation.<br />
