Bahrain Jazz Festival on<br />

The second edition of the Bahrain<br />
Jazz Festival is set to take place on<br />
<strong>Oct</strong>ober 26.<br />
The open-air music festival will<br />
feature nine international and local jazz<br />
artists and musicians, and is expected to<br />
attract more than 5,000 jazz enthusiasts<br />
from Bahrain and the region.<br />
Taking place on the scenic driving<br />
range of the award-winning Royal Golf<br />
Club golf course, the festival promises<br />
an unmatched experience, making it an<br />
annual feature in the national events<br />
calendar for the Kingdom of Bahrain.<br />

Packages to Visitors<br />
Hala Bahrain has signed an<br />
agreement with the Association of<br />
Bahrain Travel and Tour Agents (ABTTA)<br />
to provide minimal fees packaged<br />
services to the visitors and groups<br />
visiting Bahrain. This partnership will<br />
simplify arrival procedures for tourism<br />
groups and save them time and effort.<br />

during a ceremony at the Hala Bahrain<br />

making this exciting initiative an annual<br />
driver for tourism in the Kingdom and<br />
also a contributor to the promotion of<br />
local music talent in Bahrain. Last year<br />
festival was attended by 3,500 people.”<br />
In line with Bahrain’s strong digital<br />
and tech focus, the organisers of the <strong>2018</strong><br />
festival are adopting digital innovations<br />
such as full-fledged iOS and Android<br />
mobile apps, cashless payment systems<br />
for tickets and digital communications.<br />
The festival will continue to innovate<br />
digitally for future editions.<br />
Community-led events like this,<br />
which combine renowned international<br />
talent with Bahrain’s best local artists,<br />
lounge at Bahrain International Airport.<br />
“Most tourists form opinions about<br />
a country as soon as they arrive at the<br />
airport, which is why we pride ourselves<br />
on making a good first impression that<br />
reflects the warm hospitality Bahrain is<br />
known for,” said Ayman Zainal.<br />

acts from around the world<br />
including Ana Popovic (USA), Indian<br />
Ocean (India), Swing Ninjas, Cut Capers<br />
(UK), The Kiffness (South Africa) as well<br />
as influential Bahraini bands Likwid,<br />
Ala Ghawas and the Havaneros. The<br />
Bahrain Jazz Fest has a sustainable<br />
community approach and will host a<br />
series of jazz workshops and local music<br />
events at various venues in <strong>Sep</strong>tember<br />
and <strong>Oct</strong>ober leading up to the open-air<br />
festival on <strong>Oct</strong>ober 26.<br />
The family - friendly event is open<br />
to all ages with the doors open from<br />
11am till 11pm and will host activities<br />
for the whole family such as interactive<br />
children’s tents, food trucks, corporate<br />
hospitality areas, activation zones and<br />
all-day markets. The festival will also<br />
feature a second community stage that<br />
will profile up and coming bands based<br />
in Bahrain.<br />

the strategy to diversify the airport’s<br />
revenue streams through the creation of<br />
a wider range of commercial offerings.<br />
Established in 2017, Hala Bahrain is<br />
a subsidiary of BAC. Its offerings include<br />
car rental, taxi, and meet and greet<br />
services that will help passengers.<br />

The store opens to the public daily<br />
from 9am to 10pm Sunday to Wednesday<br />
and from 9am to 1am Thursday to<br />
Saturday.<br />
