In ‘In My Opinion’ Nicolas Maari, Head of Architecture at Pellings, discusses the future of construction and the use of MMC. This approach allowed them to advise on the most appropriate solution for the school users’ needs, rather than just replacing like with like as was the original intention. Natural ventilation and improved insulation were key to this project, implemented through an aluminium curtain wall system with integrated parallel opening vents and aluminium vertical sliding windows.
